Apple Picking

We all headed out to Stow with our neighbors for some apple picking. The kids were great on the ride and were excited to get there. We parked and grabbed our bag and tickets for the hayride, then went into the orchard. Because we wwere early in the season, there were great apples in reach for the kids:) They had Gravensteins, Paula Reds and Ginger Golds. All the kids loved wandering the orchard and picking the biggest apples. Eventually, they each chose one to eat while walking around:) We found some blueberry bushes as well and the kids had fun picking some for a snack. When our bags were full, we went over to see the animals and take the hayride. We sat on actual hay and bumped around the orchard in the sunlight with a wonderful breeze. It was great! We took a break for lunch at the picnic tables. Hotdogs and water to start...and then came the apple cinnamon donuts! They were sooooo good:) When everyone was full and happy, we walked to the corn maze. Everyone got a hand stamp and started on the journey. Even Colin went in! We weren't thrilled that Brookie wore her squeaky shoes, but boy they came in handy in that maze! I always knew where she was:) We all found the flag in the center and found our way back out. What a great day with our friends and family!
