My Little Fishies

Colin and Tatum had their swimming show last week. Colin is in Pike 1 and Tatum is a Perch. I get to watch Colin in the pool from the bleachers. That's pretty fun! I'm still in the pool with Tatum, even though she doesn't pay much attention to me!

They are both doing super in the water! They can't wait for class to begin and I have a hard time getting them out when it's over.

Gymnastics Show

The kids had their gymnastics shows this week. They are really enjoying themselves!
Tatum loves to do somersaults and swing on the rope. Colin enjoys the vault and he loves the balance beam!

Both classes got to play on the giant parachute. They received ribbons and got to show off a special skill. Tatum did her forward roll by herself. Colin showed how he can walk on the balance beam by himself.

They can't wait for the next session to begin!

Easter

We started the day with a bath and some pancakes. When the belly's were full, the Easter baskets were taken out. Colin and Tatum loved looking through them. Tatum's favorite was her new Dora sunglasses. Colin loved his new red socks!

We made our way over to Auntie Claudia and Uncle Ed's house. The kids got to see their cousins and enjoy some munchkins. Colin loves his yellow duck and Tatum squeezes her little bunny every time we are in the car.

We had dinner and dessert at Uncle Bob and Auntie Moira's house. Colin and Tatum loved eating some red peppers for a snack. Tatum preferred the steak and Colin liked the chicken. After dinner, Auntie Moira took out the big exercise ball. Tatum loved bouncing all over it and Colin liked rolling it and counting the circles. We watched the Masters tournament and Colin kept talking about the golf ball and we taught him to yell fore! Tatum found the rocking chair and had a blast getting on and off and rocking.

Everyone slept really well!

Easter Egg Hunt

The kids got to take part in the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. There were so many kids, we had to break it up into 3 separate areas. There was the 0-2 area, the 3-5 area and the 6 and over area. We all met for a little breakfast beforehand and then off the kids went. Both Colin and Tatum went into the front yard. Colin went for the eggs by color and enjoyed putting them into the basket that he made Daddy hold. Tatum was a little confused in the beginning, as this was her first time ever seeing a plastic egg. She quickly got the idea and ran to get as many eggs as she could!

After all the eggs were found, the kids got to open them and find the loot! Tatum was excited to see what was inside...Colin just wanted the eggs. The morning ended with some time on the swings and a few munchkins before heading home.
