Brody

Reece's Rainbow is holding a 5/5/5 warrior challenge for their waiting 5 year olds. Knowing that Brookie will be home soon, I wanted to help a child who is still waiting. Brody is in EE and most likely has autism. He has no one to hold him and tell him that he is perfect just the way he is. I am trying to raise awareness and money for his adoption fund so that his family may find him soon and give him the life he deserves. I have made glass heart necklaces and will be selling them for $15. Just donate to his fund and leave a comment. I will get it out to you right away!!! Please consider helping this beautiful child:)

What We Have Been Up To

With the weather getting nicer, we are spending more time outside:) The swingset is happy to have the kids back! This week, the kids had their "shows" at the Y. The last week of the session, the kids strut their stuff for the parents. They played T-ball in sports and were given trophies for their efforts. They were so surprised and excited! In gymanastics, they showed off their favorite events. In swimming, they just showed off:) I also brought the camera to horseback riding and caught some more cuteness! We also got some new pictures of Brookie and I think she gets cuter everytime I see her. We can't wait to go to China and bring her home!!!!!

Winter Festival

We headed downtown for the winter festival over the weekend. It was pretty cold, but we had a great time. We took a tractor ride around the center of town and sat on hay bales:) We walked over and watched ice carvings and then headed down to the bonfire. The fire department put it on and it really warmed us up! They had live music and the kids enjoyed dancing around a bit. Some local restaurants had nice hot food and the kids enjoyed a hot dog and some pizza. Den's bank sponsored these huge snowglobes that you could climb in with "snow" to throw around too. They were so popular that the lines were about an hour long. Tatum had to settle for a picture in front of them instead. It seemed to be enough for her:)
